    The Standing 8 Count

Sad to see good wins being tarnished with a barrage of "stopped early".. just this year 3 huge fights, Joshua v Wlad, Ward v Kov II, and now last night's event have plenty of naysayers and the fighters themselves rightly or wrongly using the excuse...

bring back a standing 8 and explicitly told (loud enough for the camera to hear) if the ref sees them take undefended unanswered punches on their feet even once more, it's being stopped. takes a lot of the stopped "early argument" away

Noway should Wlad v AJ be included, considering Wlad had just been through the most hellacious fight of his career and taken 2 almost knockout style KDs. I know your'e including it just so the US doesn't look bad.

Reality is, certain american fighters, backedb y networks, must stay unbeaten, so the refs are bought.

I agree about Wlad, that's why I'm saying it tarnishes Good wins that aren't early stops, but detractors bring it up

But the others fights you mentioned were early stoppages. It's as if fighters aren't allowed to be hurt anymore lol
