Idk if Paulie loses to Conor. I expect when this sparring video gets released it'll be more competitive then Conor + Dana said. And lets not forget Paulie was out of shape + going 12 rounds out of shape when thats unheard of for sparring.

I think its a viable option for Conor & perhaps even the best one as I love Tony Ferguson's & Kevin Lee's (who's trained by Dewey Cooper from Floyd's gym & has sparred with Floyd) chances to beat Conor & I have zero doubt they will if they get Conor down as they are both f#cking killers on the ground & are fighting for the interim belt Conor holds & thus will fight him next unless Dana throws together a Conor vs Diaz III fight real quick. That fight is Oct. 7 so if Conor wants to avoid either of those guys & go for his MMA fight vs Diaz or someone else they need to line it up before Ferguson vs Lee as I suspect they will unless Conor decides to box again.

I think the move for Conor is lining up Diaz in the next couple weeks for December, fighting Paulie in the ring in the first quarter of 2018 & the flipping back to MMA to probably get merked vs Ferguson or Lee. The Conor reign is coming to a close, but he should be able to maximize his upside & while he may not be a title holder in the UFC much longer he'll still have good options for a long time to come that'll surpass most guys + in the ring options if he can actually beat Paulie. If he fights & loses to Paulie I think his boxing career would be over doe.

I thought Conor's power didn't translate over to boxing very well. I was wondering how that would work out cuz I've seen killers in MMA (Mike Perry, "Cowboy" Cerrone & Anderson Silva) who boxed looked a whole lot less savage with their power in boxing vs MMA. Conor looked the same.

Conor is a killer without shoes & with 4oz gloves. He did not look like a killer with shoes + 8oz gloves. Paulie mentions in the video I just posted that he doesn't believe Conor knew how to throw a hard shot in boxing like he can in MMA for some reasons he brings up. I think there is some truth to that cuz I've seen it with other MMA guys who've boxed.

I think Paulie beats Conor based on what I saw last night although I think its by decision cuz Conor showed more heart in this fight then I've seen when he gets taken down in MMA. And that makes sense cuz he's a standup fighter ultimately so it stands to reason he'd have more heart & toughness even while losing standing up then on the ground where he's a fish outta water.

I will say that if the tapes make Conor look good, they can probably release them because the narrative could then be that now Malignaggi is getting back into training, etc.
