No, Floyd destroyed him late. He clearly had a game plan to tire him out before he walked him down. Floyd actually made MMA fans think their stand up guys can compete with world class boxers due to him letting Conor give him work early.
A 40 year old Duran would have savaged Mcgregor very early and it's not even debatable. He would've silenced those MMA fans big time not giving them any kind of illusions that their best can compete in boxing at boxing at all. Floyd unfortunately has and it's not a surprising.Comment

Let me know when Floyd enters the top 10 of all time. Top 15 even.

This was always a lose lose situation for Floyd but no matter what anyone says Conor got knocked out by a little man with brittle hands. Their own **** talk backfired because they thought Conor could only win by KO and Floyd smiled at his punches.Comment

Conor is not garbage at boxing. Against a smaller guy like that he is no slouch. This is why I was telling hardcore boxing fans to tread lightly with their predictions. It's obvious to me Conor was always going to look good early with his length and southpaw stance.Comment

He is garbage though. Has a decent jab but it only looked effective due to the reach advantage he had over a rusty Floyd. A 40 year old Roberto Duran would have destroyed the Mcgregor I just witnessed vs Floyd last night. 40 year old Duran would have mutilated Mcgregor make no mistake about it. Blood would still be drippin from his anus as we speak.Comment

Yup. Widely recognised as such as well except by non educated Floyd fanboys. Duran started fighting at bantamweight and won titles at middleweight. He even beat highly rated super middleweights. Duran is rightly rated an H2H monster. Competed hard in a 15 round war with prime Marvin Hagler when way past his prime and way above his natural weight ffs. That's like a past prime Mayweather going 15 competitive rounds with GGG. But GGG ain't as good as Hagler.Comment
