    The Ref Saved Conor's Life

Without that stoppage Conor would've been KO'd unconscious after a dominant unanswered beating.

The stoppage prevented some extra venom that boxing could've inflicted on the MMA hopefuls, but they should be forever thankful that the referee saved Conor and their sport from further damage and embarrassment.

I totally agree. Conor was getting knocked around the ring with punches as early as the 6th and 7th rounds. Floyd landed tons of hard right hands on him and you could see he wanted out. It was a perfect stoppage, had it gone another round McNugget would've gotten knocked down and hit with lots more clean shots which would've took years off his career. I already have my doubts how much longer he's going to continue knowing how much money he made in this fight, but if he was allowed to take an even worse beating then he might have just called it a day after. Hopefully we get to see him have a few more fights despite this beating.

Very entertaining fight, great performance by Floyd. The stoppage was perfect and McNugget's fans need to accept it and give Floyd some credit for embarrassing and beating up their hero despite being 40 years old and 11 years older than Conor.
