    McGregor has a great jab

Floyd couldn't get out of the way of it the whole fight, I am sure some of that had to do with Floyd's diminishing reflexes, but still, very effective jab.

I thought Floyd might get Klitschko'd after the first 2-3 rounds, lol. No but seriously if you followed McGregor's career, especially the Diaz 2 fight, he hits a wall fitness wise and it was obvious it was going to let him down, but I was impressed with his control of distance and that jab.

Even if Floyd had a game plan to walk McGregor down and let him run out of steam, I'm sure he didn't anticipate taking that many clean jabs.

His jab was accurate against Floyd, but it did't seem very powerful. I do McGregor lots of credit. He did much better than I expected.

His control of distance which some top boxers dont even have is very impressive.

His timing is also very good. Conor has natural skills that cant be taught and basically if he chose boxing instead of MMA he would have been successful as well.

If you showed me shawn porter vid or a maidana vid and showed me the 1st 3 rounds of tonights fight i would have taught Conor was the boxer between those 3.

He seems pretty heavy handed overall, just not snappy.

Yeah I thought he did pretty well, although Floyd looked old. Very strange fight/event.

My first stream had the first 3 rd's missing. Now I found one only with the first rd missing and I dont understand this talk of mcgregor doing good or winning the first two, when it looks to me he's already being outboxed and punished in the second rd. He landed a stiff left to the body to begin the rd and that's about the only meaningful work before being paid in full.

Floyd barely threw anything in those rounds. He didnt land anything significant while Conor was controlling the fight with his jabs. No way Floyd won round 2. Dont what you were watching

no, floyd just fought to gas him out....anyone who was connors size who doesnt mind getting hit would have rolled under and fired power shots which would have shut down his jab quickly...styles make fights....i dont understand why people think it would have played out differently.....floyd doesnt like getting hit hard, his whole plan was to make mcgregor gas while minimising the damage...but he was always gonna be at the end of mcgregors punches beacuse of the reach/size difference and because floyd can see evrything coming there .....even floyd's bob and weave is done more with waist movement than legs and knees.....any power puncher who uses his legs effectively to close down would have had a field day with mcgregor....

A lot of it was people being shocked at how competitive he was. Conor won 3 of those first 5 rounds clear. then Floyd easily took over.
