Hopefully he retires for good and leaves the sport so it can get back to meaningful fights.
Conor has had this issue in MMA for the last 2 years too. The blueprint is out there. Walk him down behind a high guard and hope your chin holds up.

When have you ever seen Floyd walk someone down like that? Even against Judah he was more cautious. You're lucky Conor didn't get knocked out for real.

Watching the fight I thought floyds lucky Connor doesn't erupt and roundhouse kick him or grapple him to the floor. I was pleased that it was a clean fight a dq would've been the worst possible outcome.

Not really. I expected the fight to go how it did. Floyd basically gave away the first couple rounds. He always does this. McGregor was an awkward opponent who can punch so he needed to get his measure and work him out.

Once he did, it was basically target practice. As always, ppl who don't fight overlook the little things Floyd does. He sank plenty of crisp rights to the body that sapped McGregor's energy. Let him launch attacks and hit plenty of air.

Once McGregor lost snap in his shots Floyd walked him down and beat on him. He was really shooting for a high light reel KO at the end. Would have been better off ****ing the body when McGregor swayed and stumbled back instead of reaching for his chin.

Anyways, Floyd looked good considering age and layoff, but he's definitely over the hill now compared to where he was. Spence and Thurman would definitely beat him now.

Floyd fans are prone to painting a masterpiece where none exists and place excuses where reason overbears. Floyd detractors are going to find the negative and magnify it.

Fact of the matter is Conor did better than widely predicted, but ultimately his biggest detriment was his downfall once again; he lacks a gas tank. This was always the biggest difference between him and Floyd and he proved it during the fight. He took the first three rounds and maybe one more (5th or 7th maybe? I'm not likely to rewatch this fight so it really doesn't matter). He was game and he tried, he used his length and reach the way he was supposed to, unfortunately he didn't have the experience, the gas tank or the power to do anything more with it. Frankly, he did a helluva lot better than I thought with everything stacked against him. I don't think boxing lost, but nothing that transpired makes it look great. Neither guy feels like a loser to me. Conor did better than anyone expected, and Floyd won like expected.

Let's just move on from the circus. This exhibition was a call to suckers, and a bunch of suckers paid for it. Those are the real losers in all of this. I came home just past 1am last night, and the fight was already up all over the internet haha, people just had to wait 45 minutes to see it for free (if you weren't going to stream it).

Conor did land a nice uppercut which impressed me. Easy fight for Mayweather tho. Looked like he was having fun in there

I had it 5-4 Connor and if you're not impressed by him then you dksab....no let's go further you don't know shit about any combat sport period.

Floyds the "tbe" he says then shut down Connor. That's what tbe does. What he doesn't do is get clowned for the first 4 rounds by a guy with no professional boxing experience.

People will say Floyd is 40 and his hands and he's coming back after a layoff and he was heartbroken by Bieber and and and.

Floyds supposed to be tbe so fight like tbe and shut him out or ko him in the 5th and not the 10th.

Both you guys have successfully made it onto my list of posters who DKSAB. Your posts leading into this fight have been painful to see, and I was hoping you would both just **** off after being proven to be so ignorant. Why are you even here on a boxing forum, when you clearly have no respect for, or knowledge of, the game
