    • There's an excellent breakdown of this fight from some MMA analysts here, first 25 minutes.

They even mention how McGregor's getting swallowed up in the Dunning-Kruger effect

        -Stiff Jab

Those are the 4 main components IMO to giving Mayweather trouble whether orthodox or southpaw.

Conor has no-existent footwork because of where he comes from, his hand speed isn't good but he utilizes timing well(Mayweather does too), his got length on him but not enough, I think at least 4 inches in reach would be necessary to utilize the last part and that's having a stiff jab to control distance and keep that straight right from Money getting thrown.

Conor is going to have to put together a combination of punches to drop Mayweather unless he can simply walk through his punches and no one has ever done that.

Between that and Floyd's footwork, hand speed and jab/lead right I'm wondering how Conor will get into closing distance. He also has never displayed a consistent hook or an uppercut in his UFC fights. The straight left has been the weapon on choice in mostly all of his victories.
You missed the absolute most important factor in a fight against Floyd. Conditioning. No one can match it. The last to have lengendary conditioning was Trinidad. Without having Floyds or titos conditioning no one stands a chance. Naturally soils are important. But in a 12 round fight no other factor is near as important as conditioning. Floyds lengardy skills frustrate opponents but his conditions generally wins the fight.

        • Did you see Dana white wearing a t shirt with the initials MC? They stole Cotto's emblem! Let's make Cotto's last fight against Conor happen!

Don't listen to Brendan Schaub, he doesn't represent MMA.

He's actually NOT even an MMA analyst, he just has a popular podcast where he just bull****s around. He's not smart. He's not insightful.

He's a faker... he'll say things just because that what he thinks will sound good at that time, and change his tone some other time...

He's a suck-up to/sidles-up with people who he thinks can benefit him.... and talks **** about people who can't (or when they're not there).
