Mayweather/Mcgregor struggling to sell out T-mobile arena

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/20...-mobile-arena/

With such two big names this should be an easy sell. Goes to show how much of an amateur promotion Mayweather is running in comparison to Golden Boy. Oscar could have elevated this fight to the level it deserves.

This fight is already a success regardless. Think about it for a minute, what other fighter could sell the idea of fighting a MMA novice with a 0-0 record and get the world to act like it's the biggest event ever. I doubt you'll see any empty seats on the broadcast.

Even if I were to be a multimillionaire, I wouldn't pay for any seat to this event. I'd rather use that money and buy a ticket to Golovkin vs Canelo.

Lets bump this thread tomorrow when the gate gets release

“Those other tickets — like the block the MGM will release to its players — is money that’s already in the bank, so I think they do have that live-gate record right now,” Solky said. “I would believe there’s more than $70 million in the box office as we speak.”

Translation; This fight has already destroyed any boxing fight in the gate since Manny/Floyd. This fight might end up being the biggest of all time at the gate and you're posting a troll thread on how it's a failure.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. used his superior boxing skills and stamina to defeat a game but outmatched Conor McGregor by technical knockout in the 10th round during a super-welterweight fight Saturday night in Las Vegas.

A multi millionaire can afford both.
