Comments Thread For: Mayweather: I'm Taking McGregor Fight Extremely Seriously

LAS VEGAS Maybe Conor McGregor has bought into Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s promotional ploys. The UFC superstar alluded Wednesday during a press conference at MGM Grand to indications Mayweather isn't taking their fight as seriously as he has taken other fights in his 20-year pro boxing career. Mayweather went out of his way to make it seem like he is taking McGregor lightly by emphasizing that, at 40 years old, he's not the same fighter he once was and by saying that'll he'll spend time at his Las Vegas strip club each day for a week-and-a-half through Sunday.

        Wishful Delusions

Make no mistake about it. McGregor is only here due to his personality disorder and the color of his skin. There is NOTHING in his 3 loss career to indicate that he can hang with the best defensive prizefight artist since Pernell Whitaker. Any other conclusion is wishful delusion.

Floydie... "I'm the best at training. My training is the best in the world. No one in the history of presidents... er....uh... boxers... has ever trained better than me." LOL

Hey, good luck to both fighters. Kinda doubt the fight matches the buildup... but it rarely does anyway, but no worries. Expect both fighters to have their moments.

We know your training seriously floyd. Some think you lost your last fight so why wouldn't yoiu be serious?
Connor has had his eye in yoiu four while. So may know thingS about Floyd he would ordinarily not know.

Anyone that actually thinks Floyd slacked off in this training camp really are Floyd noobs. He'd take a fight with Paulie Malignagi seriously.
