This is me everyday. Check google for upcoming fights. Check three different sites to make sure I haven't missed any scheduled fights. Try to avoid the first results because they usually have spoilers if I'm late. I keep going on about it but I'll say it again....the UFC fight pass is the greatest sporting subscription around right now. Haymon could have been the next Dana White if it wasn't for our elitist views. Arum and Oscar are wrong. Monopolising boxing is a GOOD THING for fans.
Oct. 14th Mares/LSC on FOX (separate opponents)

We're seeing more boxing on TV (network, cable and premium cable), we've seen a reduction in PPV's. We've seen promoters move from premium cable to regular cable to broadcast fights. We've seen fights on Twitter and Facebook live. Five years ago would you have predicted this? The way boxing is delivered to us has been revolutionized with Haymon and PBC leading the way. Arum was not even thinking about moving away from HBO until he sued PBC and saw their financial plan and had them waive exclusivity so he could put his fights on cable tv.
(PPV was dead already as a business model -- it was the "online" which killed it... these 2-3 fights which sell PPVs as of lately, are only for "low-tech" casuals)...Comment

... the "revolution's" outcome: TR took over ESPN, ShowTime took over uncle's Al top fights (again)... uncle Al took the money...

PBC fights are still being shown on FS1, Fox, and NBC as well as Showtime. Arum on ESPN is a direct result of PBC. He literally sued them and once discovery began he settled the suit in exchange for PBC dropping exclusivity so he could put his fights on ESPN. Arum has been around 50 years and never made the move away from premium cable/ppv until Haymon did.... there was no "revolution" in Haymon's business model...
... since about 50 years ago, boxing was "delivered" by TV channels...
Boxing introduced PPV with the "Thrilla in Manila" (back in September 1975)...
... as of top fights to date: which of them (precisely) are now "away from premium cable"???Comment

You refuse to acknowledge boxing is moving towards free tv/basic cable and the person who led the way was Haymon. I just can't take you serious if you won't acknowledge that. You're refusing to acknowledge facts. If you won't recognize factual information there's no need to continue this conversation
... boxing isn't moving anywhere... it was on TV (since TV showed up), it still is there... Haymon "revolutionized" shit... boxing is still there and the "premium" fights are still on the premium TV channels (PPV or not)... Haymon only robbed some deluded investors, that's all...
(don't you ever give a shit about any "promoter" in this sport... they all go with the actual market/tech... at the moment when TV channels are dead and the Internet takes over, let me know... until then, please just shut up...)Comment
