It’s true that the fight could be very boring, as that’s generally how Mayweather’s fights are. He’s broken down opponents over his 49-0 career with tactics rather than power punches or knockouts. Pacquiao’s fight with Mayweather, of course, was objectively boring.

Even though every reasonable boxing fan and expert feels the same way, McGregor-Mayweather will likely have the buildup and numbers of a super fight, purely from McGregor and Mayweather being involved even if the fight quality suffers.

But if simply landing a punch on Mayweather is the bar for McGregor, this fight will be ugly.

Idk why people think its such a crazy thing for Conor to hit Paulie with even one good shot lol. Thats about f#cking insane. And thats not to say that Conor will, but to suggest its not even possible is f#cking nuts & anyone drank the kool aid if they legit believe that.

I guarantee you that this forum will be flooded with people ranting about how Floyd "ran" and barely threw punches, resulting in a "boring" fight against an MMA fighter.

That's EVEN IF Floyd stops him late which I suspect is the real goal.

I expect Mayweather to win a one sided KO and win every round easily. I think Conor will land some good punches. Conor apparently had no trouble landing meaningful punches on Paulie who is no Mayweather but still has a decent defense.There are bound to be times in the fight when they are very close and Conor will be able to land. Conor isn't a pro boxer but he is the best fist fighter in MMA that I know of. His straight left is quick, accurate and hard.

Manny Pacquiao says he won�t be watching Conor McGregor�s fight with Floyd Mayweather, and he wasn�t particularly thrilled that the fight is even happening.
