Very good read but Roy Jones was done after the first fight with Tarver. There is no way that the Roy Jones who fought John Ruiz, would have struggled so much with Tarver or anyone else really. He should have never gone back to light heavyweight.

Excellent section on why Tommy Hearns was such a great fighter. His will to win, power, and boxing skills were a deadly combination. He also mentioned that Tommy has never been out boxed. His boxing ability is usually overlooked which is a huge oversight. Tommy also had this intense intimidating stare that he directed at his opponents. I felt intimidated watching it on TV. Another excellent analysis on Duran. I don't agree that the first fight was the beginning of a string of subpar performances. It was his lifestyle and the fallout from the second Leonard fight that caught up to him. Duran on the inside was like a Grandmaster playing chess. Incredible.
These two guys are my favorite fighters all time.
