FLOYD MAYWEATHER against Conor McGregor is an event and that is how we should treat it. This is not the American's crowning glory if as expected he breaks Rocky Marciano's 49-0 unbeaten record. But it is one hell of a promotion that is going to make both men very rich. It is not a competitive fight or a potential boxing classic, but it is a big event and if you know what you're buying into and happy to do so then fire away.
