Well thats the thing mayweather dragged up marquez 2 divisions then missed weight & marquez was still 2 lbs light,& floyd missed all the deadlines to have contract weight changed ,he waited til last second then changed contract so he wouldn't have to pay a steep penalty was still allowed to alter contracted weight way after sanctioning bodies self imposed deadline & his own promise of filing papers by thursday came & went,he illegally filed his new contract minutes before weigh in which changed the contracted weight to 147 from 144,& it meant he avoided losing 10% of his purse because the nsac commission are a bunch of currupt greedy pos in floyds pocket.So no Davis is not doing worse than mayweather in this regard as mayweather was 32 yrs old when he did that. & No I don't think roidquez wouldve done jack shît different anyways.

His self imposed retirement makes it even worse he missed weight as he had all the time to make weight,davis took the fight on short notice. Your what I reference when I say peeps treat floyd like hes infallible & davis is naturally way stockier than floyd.

Davis also failed to make weight TWICE in his fight with Liam Walsh and only made it at the third try, after being given over an hour to shed more weight, and this is a twenty two year old.

And you wana compare that to missing a catchweight, at age 32, after two year retirement?

This forum is one of the most racist, hateful, idiotic boxings forums I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. I think I'd rather go back to The RING where even though it's Golden Boy influenced news, the hostility level is way down.

We don't even know how much his power will translate at 135 hell he didn't prove much at 130 but now you think he beats Mikey who has ALREADY proven he's a devastating puncher at 135, is much bigger and skilled already has beaten top fighters on his resume just beat broner at 147. Mikey will likely finish his career at god damn welterweight. We can clown Broner all we want but he'd kill Davis and has only lost to top fighters at 140 and up.
