did maidana even have a chance to be dirty in the rematch? besides the alleged bite i remember him just bein frustrated by floyds cheating and he accepted his fate as kenny bayless passed his audition for the pac fight with flying colors. you got the job ken! protect me!

Maidana could've actually been disqualified in the first bout. In the second bout, Maidana didn't cheat much but other than occasional holding, Mayweather didn't cheat much himself.

All I'm stating is Mayweather doesn't directly inflict harm / damage upon his opponents through illegal moves like Andre Ward does. That's the biggest difference! Furthermore, Mayweather has had many fights earlier on in his career where he won via clean boxing, without any cheating against multiple top level opposition. The same thing can't be stated of Andre Ward because he had to cheat against practically every one of his top level opposition.

So I just can't agree with the comparisons between Ward and Mayweather as if they are a similar 'type' of fighters. Mayweather never did what Ward did against Kovalev. So why the comparison in the first place?
