Although in fairness to Tank this fight was all over the place & I'm not sure he had 100% confidence it would happen or even necessarily be for a title perhaps. Think he was gonna fight about 4 or 5 different mfers before Fonseca got the gig.

He would have known he would be fighting no matter what though as there was no way that Mayweather wouldn't have his protege on the undercard of his last fight.

Failing to make weight at his age is pretty shocking to be honest, which doesn't bode well for him.

I think he's just undisciplined is the main problem so idk if its really all that shocking, but obviously its not a good thing. He's young & eating whatever probably. Thinking he can take it off easy.

He's gonna need to get his nutrition under control or move up to 135. Always surprising to me how badly many pro boxers take care of themselves "out of season" vs other athletes.

I think he needs to get his nutrition under control under normal conditions I'm just saying with all the bs with this fight date I can see how things might not have been taken as seriously as they should of been with 4 or 5 opponent changes & perhaps the fight not even ending up being a title fight or come to fruition at all. Not so much an excuse as the reality a guy who's already chubby & probably don't know sh^t about a nutritionist might be facing. Who knows though I'm just speculating but clearly weight sh^t needs to be a focus for them.
