McGregor isn't a boxer but to me he's the only fighter out there who seems extremely calm and patient in his matches other than Floyd

That's the difference...mcgregors a fighter, Floyd IS a boxer...they are 2 different things. You can call a boxer a "fighter" , but a boxer is one who looks at the strengths and weaknesses, a strategist in the ring. A fighter is a blanket statement for a guy who goes out and just tries to get the knockout with no real plan on how or why. They use terms like "he's too little, "I'm too strong" "im so much bigger, ill run through him"...McGregor isn't the first one to make all of these same claims.

Strong? Shane Mosley was squatting 500 lbs. Do you know how hard that is for a 147 lb man? Hatton? He was leg pressing 1100 lbs. That's strength, and strength that I can almost guarantee McGregor cannot match. You know what Hatton said after fighting Floyd? That he was far stronger than he ever thought. McGregor will be shocked when he gets in the ring and gets into a clinch with Floyd at just how strong he really is.

None of that wins fights though...what does win fights is skill...a boxer has skill, hence the reason Marquez was never soundly beaten by manny before catching him with a PERFECT shot. Marquez is a master boxer and he was beaten easily by Floyd. Anyone who claims a few lbs would've made a difference, is just butthurt, and fooling themselves. Floyd might be totally ****** outside of the ring, but hes a ring genius.

Yep, except Mayweather sent multiple average body punches made Connor very uncomfortable and opening head for following headshots.
