Against Canelo he weighed in at 150.5lbs on the one day weigh in, on fight night he actually DROPPED half a pound instead of gaining weight, and weighed in at 150lbs on fight night.

And you out here talkin bwt 165lbs?

    Defaq!

This the same guy who came in at 148lbs against Maidana and 149lbs against Pac.

149lbs against Baldomir, 150lbs against Ortiz, 146lbs against Judah.

Mayweather gonna be 150lbs tommorrow, 151lbs at BEST.
lost weight after weigh in? do I guess he didn't have dinner, breakfast the next day, lunch and then dinner again...musta been starving himself lol

First off, May doesnt allow fight day weigh ins, so your claim is rubbished by that alone. Second, losing weight while being a helathy person who is eating in the build up to a fight and taking on fluid...jeez some of you are clueless.

I have to give props for Floyd for fighting Conor @ 154lbs and giving in to 8oz Gloves size, but if you think about it. He may have underestimated Conor too much and gave way to Conor's needs to have a shot at winning. It's uncharacteristic of Floyd to give way too much leeway for his opponent to have a chance of winning to someone who is more like a dark horse who is actually a big question mark on how Conor will perform in a boxing ring.

We have no idea how good Conor really is in his striking game in relation to boxing, he could look really bad or he may also shock the world. Floyd giving away 15-20 lbs with an 8oz gloves with no cornerman at this point. Is all pointing to a bad omen. I still think Floyd should win this within 6, but something tells me stars are aligned for a big upset.
I don't think he has underestimated him. I think he's let McGregor think he's underestimated him, but that's part of the mind games. I'm pretty sure Floyd would have been training as hard as ever. He's terrified of losing, and taking opponents lightly is not something he usually does.

I'm not sure what McGregor thinks of Mayweather. If anyone gives the impression they think it's going to be easy, it's him. If you listen to his words, he appears to think Floyd's boxing ability will count for nothing and he'll knock him out somewhere between round 1-4. Sure he's training hard, but he's shown very little respect for Floyd's ability so far.

I get the unorthodox angle, but really I see McGregor being the one who is more shocked when the bell rings. I think Floyd is doing his best to prepare for whatever look Conor may give him, as hard as that may be, but he's got to be expecting the unexpected at this point. I think Conor has underestimated Floyd's power and timing by thinking he'll just walk through him and maul him. It's not going to be that easy and if that's his gameplan he may find himself caught out.

100%. I would actually say that this is confirmed 100% by the level of sparring partners he's had in camp. Excluding Paulie, I haven't heard one bit of gossip that McGregor's had anything above journeyman / MMA level sparring in camp.

I think like virtually everyone Floyd has fought over 135, McGregor is going to get a big shock when Floyd hits him with a flush Power shot. Especially cause he will most likely walk straight into it.

Knowing both guys, and their histories, it is clear that neither of them struggled with the weight.

Conor will be a lot bigger in the ring than Mayweather. It won't matter. He will still be gassed by the third and KTFO in by the fourth. If he is lucky.

Exactly, for all of the "floyd cant punch worth sh|t" people NO ONE HAS JUST WALKED THRU his punches and ALL of his opponents have revealed that his punch is harder than whats advertised.
Floyd has to carry him about 3 rounds or he just gets him outta there round 1 to embarass his ass. #respectboxing

So he's only gonna see those first punches on video after concussion protocols. Im a Floyd Fan but even I thought Pac would be the faster guy in their fight. Who in the hell can he get to mimic Floyd's speed? He might get thoroughly EMBARRASSED

Weird, I was gonna say exactly that. Paulie seems to be by far the most accomplished boxer he's spared with, and that's a retired out of shape Paulie at that. I think he had some Irish fighter with 4 or 5 pro fights to his name as well. And that's about it as far as I've read.

Mayweather should be levels above anything he's faced in terms of boxing ability, and the first taste he will get of that is when the bell rings.

I guess it's a tough choice though. If he brought in some absolute top sparring partners, he might have been completely exposed and lose heart and confidence.

I think his trainers knew exactly what they were doing and have purposely kept him sparring against opponents he can look good against, or at least not be blown away by, to keep his confidence high and keep the charade going. Imagine if he went into this fight feeling beaten already.

His best chance is to win is his belief. Why take that away?

To me it looks like McGregor is trying to psyche himself up because deep down he's intimidated and worried. He looks to be in good shape but Floyd is in monster shape and looks a lot more focused and ready. McNugget is in for a rough night!
