Mayweather Snr, 64, himself a former boxer, will again work his son's corner having built his own reputation as a leading trainer and for the same hubris for which Mayweather Jnr is also known. He became the subject of some of McGregor's pre-fight taunts when the 29-year-old posted a picture of him, claiming it was instead his son, but the trainer has laughed off any chance he has in Saturday's fight, deriding it as a "joke".

I'm glad Floyd Sr mentioned the body- one thing no fans have been talking about is how McGregor will be incredibly inexperienced at defending body punches. Floyd is going to touch him upstairs with a stiff jab or lead right, or even a lead hook to get his attention and then send home the liver shot downstairs.

We'll see how ****y McGregor is after tasting one of those, feeling his legs leave him, and then having 4-5 right hands bounced off his head.

the only thing he has going for him is his awkwardness. that stuff can work sometimes, against good fighters too, but mainly when they are taking the other guy too lightly.

Floyd is going to be 100% ready. McGregor thinks hes going to come out fighting crane style and knock Floyd out with a left. He's delusional. His best punch is a straight left down the pipe anyway. Never seen him knock anyone out with something else.

Sr and his epic babbling again, always good for a laugh or two. I like the guy, but he himself knows his son will just be doing what he always does in the ring... lulling everyone to snoozeland. But it is great to hear from Sr. We need characters like him in boxing to keep things interesting.
