You named one fighter, The question you asked is who moves up in weight at 40, which you know is a ****** question because not many fighters are still fighting at that age let alone moving up in weight, Therefore its ****** example to use in an argument as to how can Floyd move up in weight at 40.

I presented you with scientific evidence that showed individuals aged 35-50 built muscle at the same rate as 18-22 year olds. Stop regurgitating false information on subjects you are ignorant to. Testosterone levels drop as you age but this does not stop you from gaining muscle mass, it merely reduces the maximum amount of muscle mass your body can hold. 154lbs for a 5ft7 male is not even close to genetic potential. That's small in the bodybuilding world.

You were laughing at the idea of somebody being able to move up in weight at 40, in floyds case 1-2lbs ( already fought at 151 and is currently 152-153)

Again I have already presented you with scientific evidence that showed individuals aged 35-50 built muscle at the same rate as 18-22 year olds.

I have answered your question with research backed up by science, Floyds arms may be bigger now, because a 40 year old can still gain muscle, This really should not be a surprise.

wtf are you even talking about?? i quoted a poster who said its genetics. i asked him so only floyd's arms gets bigger but not his body.

you quoted me by saying why do i think fighters move up in weight as they age.

i replied back to you saying because their body is still growing NOT their arms only (in floyd's case), then i asked who at 40 is still moving up (because at this age, they stopped growing)!!!!

Floyd does have great genetics and you don't just stop growing at 25 or what ever age you assume . At the start of Floyd camp you could clearly see he had gained weight during retirement, he was no where near as lean he also posted on social media earlier this year that he was 160lbs. Do you think that when people gain weight its 100% fat?,the body puts small amounts of muscle when you gain weight even if you don't lift a weight. over a couple of years that could easily equate to a few lbs. Which is most likely the reason he didn't choose to fight at 147.
