The kid got this, I like how he knows how to skip the jab where that's one of the first things you'll need to know when your facing a Charlo since they like to jab a lot to set up their other combos!

I picked with my heart when I picked wasn't ready but my head says he is!

I just believe there's an extra gear that he has yet to show!

Also with Charlo now sitting on his punches it will leave more openings for "The Crane Styled" puncher!

I also like the kids timing, he just seems to know when to throw a precise shot!

Gonna be a good FIGHT, I think Lubin stops Charlo late!

right now in boxing been a champ doesnt make you good never rated charlo lost every round against jackson till he landed a lucky punch and jackson isnt all that good and i could be wrong but didnt he get outboxed by hopkins who was on the slide but hopkins got robbed or it could have been the other charlo

The Jackson fight was bad, but lets not act like Jackson is some bum here. He was beating Andy Lee also until Lee KO'd him. Jackson can box he just doesn't have a chin.

And D-Hop did not out box Charlo. It was a boring match I do remember tho. That was also like 5 years ago.

                  This.

I mean he ultimately tells us if he is or not cuz we've seen plenty of guys moved into bigger fights like this & win, but it feels this is too big of a jump up in class to me. Personally I like to see a guy knock down a top 20ish guy or two at least before a title shot against a top 3 guy. And in particular when they are promising guys I don't even expect them to get a title shot unless they are bad ass & I don't feel like Lubin's proven himself to be THAT bad ass while still a top prospect.

That said more guys should be fighting the best guys they can fight so even if Lubin isn't ready an L is a great learning experience for a young fighter & its not even close to being the end of the road many fans love to make it out to be.
