Kubrat Pulev Turns Down Offer To Fight Anthony Joshua On October 28th

Pulev thinks he's in a position to dictate the terms to Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. He says he wants a minimum of 4 months to get ready to fight AJ therefore the fight should be taking place late December or January 2018.

The IBF really needs to step in here.

              They really do.

They've stated that Pulev has to be next but they simply cannot expect Joshua to wait around for him to be willing to fight. Hearn should be going to the IBF and demanding that Joshua be allowed to fight WBA mandatory Ortiz instead if Pulev is flat out unwilling to agree terms.

I think Pulev is a legit top ten guy unlike a lot of mandatory's in boxing these days, but f#ck him then.

Let Luis Ortiz get the October fight & Pulev can get the fight after that & can start training 4mos before that date if he feels like it, but lets not keep Joshua out of the ring cuz this cat thinks 2 extra months is gonna help him. I'm not sure the result would be any different if he spent 2 years preparing for Joshua.

He's a heavyweight. Why does he need that much time? He's not going to get any better at this stage. Surely his plan involves hitting Joshua very hard in the head. That's it. I am sure he will have some success with his jab early on until Joshua decides Pulev is boring him and will try and take his chin off.

Pulev just needs to have some gas in the tank.

Maybe this lad has hooked himself up to a goose fat IV, and been injecting heroin into his actual eye ball since his last fight.
