NO! I like to support the sport and watch fights without worrying about lag, bit rate/quality, the stream being shut down, etc. Plus I like the event feeling when you purchase a PPV. Thats just me though.

That Showtime deal was certainly a money maker. Just add up the PPV revenue over the six fights. It's not debatable. No ambiguity at all.

The fight package deal wasn't successful, but to address your point about the boxing schecule; what you have to understand is the fight calendar is always slow in the latter end of the year because they like to avoid the major sports. College football, the NFL, MLB playoffs, College basketball, and NBA kickoff are real concerns for promotion. Just look at the major fights in the last five years. The fight calendar is always loaded for the first half of the year into September. Things generally slow down after September.

This makes no sense, especially when you have monthly subscribers who signed because of boxing. It's absolute nonsense.
Look back in the 3rd and last quarter of 2015. HBO was producing almost weekly fights while SHO had none.
HBO didn't give a crap about these other sporting events you speak of. They should never be.
Especially when you have tens and tens of inactive boxers in your stable hoping to make good money for the holidays.
You guys always have ready-made excuses for everything.

The fight is coming up and Im actually shocked how little heat its been getting around my area. Maybe its just my area but I think Floyds mistake is mentioning the Pacquiao fight he had, that left a real bitter taste, and him saying I owe you guys for the Pacquiao fight could have got the casuals thinking this guy thinks we are going to fall for that BS again? he gonna run and play us for a sucker.

I still believe it will do well over 6 million it will break the 4.6 million buys though, I can almost guarantee it, but if it doesn't which is unlikely it might have to do with Floyd mentioning how boring the Pacquiao fight was and people paying 100 were mad.

Now that you mentioned it.... I do believe it put a pause on some PPV side of the minds. Good point bro. It's pretty blown up on the East Coast. I think it'll prob do between 3.8-4.5 million buys. Before Floyd reiterated the Manny scam, probably 4.5-5.2 million. In my opinion, which doesn't mean crap to anyone

There is over 300 million Americans, this will attract a whole new set of fans the mma fans
