Why are some people in NSB saying Meth/******* are PEDS?

i dont think you guys know the difference between PEDS such as steroids and other hard drugs such as meth and coke. steroids doesnt play with your mind. meth and coke will **** with your mind making you see things that is not there. again, how is this performance enhancing again?

This isn't about whether Pacquiao took PEDS or not this is about people saying that Coke/Meth/Marijuana or recreational drugs are PED's used in sports to cheat on.

Well they could be considered PEDs so that also answers the question. Why do you think people are ****** for saying it?

It's probably already been mentioned here but Oscar and several other fighters would use coke before a fight. They thought it helped them. Anything that enhanced your performance is technically a ped.

It started with Roger Mayweather, the crackhead who talks like his tongue is too big for his mouth, spouting off accusations that Pacquiao was using meth as a PED. The crackhead himself should know that these drugs won't give you an advantage in a boxing match, not unless you can KO your opponent in the first four rounds, after that you'll need another hit as you come down off that high. It will also destroy your concentration and you'd likely end up getting KO'd yourself because you won't be in the right frame of mind to perform at peak levels. Of course the pre and post fight urine tests would pick up any traces of coke or meth.

Depends on the user, if they know how to fight then coked up they likely aren't going to be swinging wildy and yelling. Plus you put a Coke head on his arse and he'll be back up in seconds.

Coke doesn't make you see things that aren't there? Only if you had been on a 48hr bender or combined with other drugs.

PED = performance enhancing drug. What Coke does would temporarily enhance certain aspects of a fighter when used on its own. Reflexes, strength, stamina and likely recovery from knock downs.
