Crawford isn't happy with Top Rank/ESPN promotion of his fight

There was definitely a difference in how Crawford was promoted compared to a few weeks ago with lomachenko but that might have to do with the weak ratings performance in the last top rank card. If you ESPN are you going to put Crawford in all your talk shows rerun old fights on prime time ESPN2 all week like you did lomachenko when all that only got you 700k viewers to tune in for the fight? Unless you paying ESPN they are not going to do extra promo for you.

Seems like that's exactly why they should've done it. Just because it didn't work for one fighter doesn't mean it won't work for another. Looking at Crawford's HBO numbers compared to Loma's HBO numbers they should've known Crawford would get higher ratings. Or maybe they knew that and decided he didn't need as much promotion?

Crawford is not that well known. Get some solid wins against bigger names, "Bud". Julius Indongo? Who the fuck is that? They tried to tout it @ ESPN as the biggest SLW unification bout since Pryor vs Arguello, but it was not.

If you ask me, I want to see them all covered under one umbrella, so they can deal with the general problems affecting the sport properly. Maybe the only way it improves is see it go broke completely. If this is what this thread is all about. See Terence move over to PBC. Give them one fight per two years or so. Much like Mikey getting hungry after 2 years of inactivity.

I've really got to wonder what TC is reaching for here......because whatever he's doing he's reaching, because no one here can sit and give fact based reasons for why his fight was promoted a certain way....we can only speculate.
