That's because your head is clearly up your ass. Lemieux had already taken not one but TWO L's before facing Bumlovkin - with one of those L's coming by way of KO. Postol, OTOH, was undefeated going into the Crawford fight with a win over a LEGIT top 5 140lb'er. WHO in the hell had Lemieux ever beaten @ 160?

Indongo was also undefeated, unlike Lemiuex who has losses to JOURNEYMEN level opposition. Please remove your head from your ass.

Bumlovkin could have done with Crawford did - move up. Too bad that the prospect of fighting a REAL challenge in Andre Ward was enough to make Team Triple Duck piss their pants...

Crawford has won LINEAL titles in TWO divisions.

How many LINEAL titles has Broner won? Ricky Burns? Bumnnady Bumlovkin?

Will find out more in 3-4 years but up to now I'd give the edge to Bud as I think he's just the better fighter which is my separator when theirs two consistent, dominant, excellent fighters to compare.

Both are doing great. I think Crawford has looked as good as any fighter in recent years in his last 3-4 fights IMO given the dominance and versatility shown and the fact Indongo, Diaz, Postol were good fighters with good credentials coming in.

It's really pathetic to see both guys get ridiculed and discredited so much on a regular basis given how good they have been.

              Crawford is 6 years younger.
Based on this logic, Adrien Broner trumps them both... he is what a 4 division champ and younger than both of them.

That being said TC and GGG have similar resumes, TC has better accomplishments though being unified.

Don't get me wrong, both are awesome fighters. But both were in equally hollow divisions, one spoke about unifying his division for years and the other man got the job done quickly.

So who are you down with and why?
You are insinuating GGG didn't unify because he was not serious about it when we know WBO champs have ducked him openly and two WBC champs did the same in a period of only a few months.

Bottom line is, both uys are upper echelon in terms of the sport. GGGs win over Canelo solidified his place as the best mw since Martinez, if he isnt already. It also bookends one of the best mw runs this century.

TC is already the best 140 pounder in a weak division but both guys have dealt with top opposition pretty easily and looked levels above. I have TC ranked above p4p but GGG could over take that in a month. Either way its irrelevant because both guys are THE champs in their divisions which is more important imo.

Basically in this thread some ggg fans are saying that TC needs to test himself at 147 against those Champions to "prove" something... while acknowledging such theory in a 3rd weight class of 12lb difference...

Golovkin by a no brainer. The statement "but both were in equally hollow divisions, one spoke about unifying his division for years and the other man got the job done quickly." is wrong on so many levels. Just because people called 160 and 140 "weak" divisions doesn't mean they were 'equally hollow'. 140 is REALLY bad. You wont be able to recognize 4 guys without going to boxrec. You can easily name 10-15 fighters at 160. Golovkin's opposition has been stiffer, the fighters have been better, and he's been the smaller guy majority of the time.

Golovkin spoke about unifying for a long time, but there were many roadblocks in his way. For one, nobody wanted to fight him for a long time, not without a significant financial reward. You can trace it back to Peter Quillin talking about 'May-Pac money, 5-10 mill'. To further add to this, Crawford got the unification fights for cheap. 1m for unification fight? BJS wanted 3-5m, JAcobs got 3m and Lemieux got 1.5m.

Trying to pretend theyre same situations is laughable.
