Tony Bellew: If McGregor Wins, He Single-Handedly Destroys Boxing! [VIDEO]

Bellew believes that McGregor should be 100000-1 to beat Mayweather and that he'll have the shock of his life on fight night, having practically no realistic chance to win the fight. However, if McGregor somehow pulls off the victory, Bellew says that the win would single-handedly destroy boxing.

With the high profile nature of the fight, touted to possibly break all box office records, would a McGregor victory spell the beginning of the end for boxing as we know it?

I don't get why people in boxing are so insecure.

A boxer walks into a cage and sparks one of their top champions and nobody would give a **** ( Holly ), A cage fighter walks into a boxing ring and sneaks a KO on a semi-retired active HOF and boxing is dead.

        LOL this.

        And so f#cking dramatic.

Here's a reenactment of Conor & his team leaving the arena Saturday night after the decision is announced of Conor winning as boxing falls apart all around them.

I don't think it destroys boxing at all. Is anybody from this site not going to watch Canelo v Golovkin a few weeks later if Floyd loses? no.

Could it influence people to see MMA as superior and more people get drawn towards it than boxing? it's possible but at the end of the day if the right fights get made in boxing, it will always survive. The only people that can destroy boxing are the people already in boxing and sometimes they do a pretty good job of tainting the sport as it is.

If Floyd loses, it'll be a talking point in the general public for a week or two and it'll die off. The way the world works now with social media, 99% of people that watch the fight will be talking about something else a week later.

McGregor is physcivally bigger and stronger .this will look like two seperate weight classes . If McGregor wins everyone will point this out more than anything so the answer is no . Theres more dangerous punchers that would be more difficult for McGregor .

Not only this, but Conor winning doesn't really prove MMA is superior to boxing. What if he just happens to be a bad style match up for Floyd, and have his number, while Pacquiao, Spence, Thurman, etc. could whoop his ass, and do whoop his ass, if he were to actually beat Floyd, which I highly doubt anyways.

because you have a guy like floyd, who grew up in a boxing gym, live, eat and breathe boxing. supposedly the best in his era. suppose to be one of the best defensive fighter of all time. and then a guy like conor comes over and beats him at his own game?
