That Mccall/Lewis 2 thing is interesting. I've never seen the fight and just assumed Lewis avenged his k.o by k.oing the guy in regular fashion. Had no idea it was that odd.

No, beaten to death is... !!

I think the most shameful way to lose is to quit, especially when not much damage has been taken, à la Walters. Or maybe the way Chavez lost to Canelo is quite dishonourable too, i.e. showing no discernable effort and seeming not to care

Debateable. I think I would maybe rather be dead than saddle my partner and kids with a lifetime of wiping my ass, heartache and medical bills.

Refusing to extend your contract with Bob Arum. A few guys have lost that way and im sure it hurts like a binch.

How Meldrick Taylor lost to JCC is pretty sh^tty. Got the fight won & the ref stops it with 2 seconds on the board has gotta f#ck with your confidence & has gotta hurt in such a gutsy performance where you think you've done enough to eek it out.

I agree. You could make the argument that the loss ruined Taylor's life.

Yea that was crazy. You would've thought the mafia held his family or something. He really didn't want to be there

I see people mention this, but its his own fault. He had just got knocked down and then wasn't responding to punches. Don't feel sorry for him one bit, was one of the dumbest moves in boxing history.
