Wasn't Wilder meant to have his big announcement weeks ago? A month ago maybe? I'm so sure I can recall him saying he'd have something that week. Then, nothing.

Probably a decent summary of his career, to be honest.

Hopefully he announces his retirement.

Ortiz asked to fight Wilder several times. Wilder says ok. Now Ortiz no longer wants to fight Wilder but wants to fight Joshua who's been slated to fight Wlad or Pulev for some time.

BTW Pulev is Joshuas mandatory and AJ has always said if no Wlad, then Pulev would be up. Perfect opportunity for Ortiz to get a belt against Wilder

Ortiz has been the #1 guy for the WBA much longer than the #2 for the WBC. He's the mandatory for AJ's WBA title. Therefore, he will take the shot against AJ. Wilder has to fight his mandatory which is Stiverne.

The only reason that Pulev is getting the shot first is because of the IBF rules.

Wilder didn't say okay first, he said that he wouldn't fight anyone that wasn't under the Clean Boxing Program. That is in this video

That was when Wilder was asked why he chose Washington over Ortiz and Miller. Now that Ortiz is registered, Wilder is taking his time.

Either he gets the mandatory out of the way ASAP or he's milking it as long as possible. If Stiverne is sticking up the process, handle it so you can go after who you claim that you want in the ring.
