A week ago Lomachenko was a coward and a ducker and they were terrified of Rigo because he's a bum and now that's all gone quiet and the excuses are all out just because the fight looks likely. Lot of people have shown their true colors. Some folks will never change nor give credit.

I think this will be one of Loma's quickest wins.

I'd love for you to quote me saying Loma is ducking rigo at 130. If not I'll accept your apology for lying

Respect. I said back in October the ship has sailed for the fight since Loma is big and was already mentioning 135

I like rigo a lot obviously but i wouldn't pick him to beat gervonta Davis at 130 either

Every factor going into this fight will be stacked in Lomo's favor, size, weight, age, promoter, judges, etc. Sadly, Rigo has virtually zero change of winning this fight unless Lomo truly is an overhyped fraud.

If the fight goes through Lomo deserves to be ripped as bit as badly as lil g was for bringing Brook up 2 weight classes. Except moving up 8 freaking pounds from 122 is an even greater percentage of Rigo's body weight.

Wish this was at 26. I think the skill is near equal, but I doubt rigo will be able to hurt loma

Expect a press release from Top Rank in a few days saying Rigo refused to sign and the negotiations are dead.

Expect a reply from Rigo saying they offered 300k.

Expect a story a few weeks later saying Loma offered Salido 800k.

Then watch the Loma fans try and twist it and say it was Rigo that didn't want the fight.

I personally think Rigo knows he has no chance either and is willing to cash out as its the only payday he can get before retiring.

I also think he will effectively 'retire in the ring' once he sees he can't hit what he used to be able to hit, and can't avoid the shots he used to be able to avoid. He either gets laid out by Loma or does the same as Walters, only difference being Walters will fight again, and Rigo won't. One thing I don't see Rigo doing is going out on his shield if he can see another way out.

I felt Rigo had no chance even before realising he will have only fought 2 full rounds in the 25 months leading up to Dec. So throw the inactivity on top of the age and weight, plus he's already visibly lost a step.

If by some miracle Rigo did win, that would be one hell of a statement from him. Leonard was still only 30 when he came out of retirement to SD Hagler, so at least still had age on his side, plus Hagler had a lot taken out of him by Mugabi, and was older than Leonard too. Rigo taking on prime Loma is a far bigger challenge than what Leonard did - but the outcome will reflect that.

Bob Arum - Is it done, yet? No.

Everyone is announcing the fight like it's done. I'll hold my breath.
