        Odds are he'd lose more than we won against top flight MMA guys in the cage, not much doubt about that.

        I think people are underestimating the skillset of a lot of HW fighters, however. A few people have said 90% of HW's don't use takedowns - yes, technically that's about right, but it's not due to inability to do so. BJJ in particular is huge in MMA, including the HW division - it's not regularly used in the cage because the HW game has always been about striking abilities. If someone came into the cage with little or no ability to defend a takedown, or defend themselves in the grapple or on the ground, best believe a number of guys with predominantly striking skills would call on their wrestling and BJJ training. You'd see it because it's effective - and we don't see it much currently because it's not effective against someone who has a mirroring skillset.
