Boxing doesnt revolve around floyd so the sport will be fine. It would take some blow and the loss will be talked about for awhile but boxing will be fine.

I would love to see Floyd ktfo on the canvas twitching like an infantile ******.

Floyd was retired and boxing was doing just fine.
UFC is starting to suck though lately, with their main events getting cancelled due to fighters failing to make weight/injuries/not feeling like fighting, and putting up Interim belts right and left.

Actually, Conor winning could potentially help boxing. A major upset would grab the world's attention and Mcgregor would probably continue boxing, setting up more big fights down the road.

At any rate, that Is not going to happen. Floyd stops Mcgregor or makes him quit between 5-7 rounds, IMO.

Gervonta Davis becomes a star after this fight
UFC gets sold and goes bankrupt
Bellator will be the top dog but it still won't mean much, it'll resemble what K-1 is today and boxing will continue being the primary combat sport of the world

Boxing is gonna be around for a long time. Maybe for as long as people exist. I foresee a day in my lifetime when guys are competing in virtual reality environments & we will no longer see boxers receive the damage they do now & careers will end without the damage current fighters suffer from when they walk away.

Most casuals are expecting Conor to win based on the way the bets are rolling in so I'd say boxing will be fine. I mean if by some miracle Conor wins they could set up a rematch with Floyd which would do even bigger numbers than the first. Hell, McGregor could fight Pac or Canelo or some other boxers for big money. When you think about it McGregor winning would be better for boxing than the expected outcome of Floyd squashing him in a few rounds.

Please go back to the MMA forum you came from and stay there. Conor couldn't keep MMA fighter Diaz down for more than a second or two even using the tiny MMA gloves. How is he going to KO Floyd who has never been knocked down in 49 fights and has a ten times better chin and a hundred times better defense than Diaz??????? You will be leaving here right after Mayweather KOs Conor anyway.
