Is Crawford's career about to stall?

With Crawford proving he's the man at 140 many anticipate he'll move up to 147, but who is there for him there? Horn and Vargas are really the only fights that Top Rank have. He's not getting in there with a PBC guy and PBC has most of the talent at 147. Either Crawford leaves Arum or I anticipate a rough few years for him coming up. Any one know how many fights he owes Arum?

TR gots some 147lbers to keep Crawford busy & they could potentially parlay Manny & Horn into 2 fight events & a trilogy if either can find a way to beat Crawford which I have a hard time envisioning either guy doing these days. But idk that he's career has ever really been on fire for it to reach a stall point.

I mean look at his resume. For a guy talked of so highly he's resume is pretty garbage if we are being honest about it. And hell thats no shame on him he's done great vs whats been put in front of him & thats all he can really do, but its still not the most exciting resume so it not being an exciting 147lb resume isn't gonna hurt him THAT bad.

I think Haymon and Arum are on good enough terms to work together, but it would have to be on PPV.

His resume isn't the best considering he's talked about as a top 3 guy but he's obviously very talented. But personally none of the TR fights do anything for me. Bradley would have been good.

I'd love to see him against Danny Garcia, Porter, Khan, heck even making him watch Ortiz quit would make me laugh. And beyond that I'd love to see him fight Thurman and Spence. Personally I think Horn and Vargas are garbage.

I'm not even sure if Thurman would have the courage to fight a high risk talent like Crawford. Thurman would most likely say the same thing when they tried to pit him against Spence, "He hasn't earned it yet doe." Swift, Porter, Berto, etc. would reject Crawford as well.

Spence would take Terence, but I highly doubt Crawford would want any part of Spence at this point.

So there's really nothing for him from the Haymon camp. I don't really mind Vargas as one of his 3 fights a year opponent next year if he decides to move up.

Currently he has lucrative options to fight Pacquiao and Horn, which should keep him busy for one year.
In one year many things can change.

Maybe some pbc fighters will look elsewhere, because they are not satisfied with what they get offered anymore.
Or some unknown fighter not signed exclusively to pbc will upset one of the pbc guys and are free to fight crawford.

Pacquiao did the best rating on cable since I dont know and there are reports that the crawford fight was thte second most watched boxing broadcast on cable. if Arum keeps doing good ratings,
he will have more cloud again and will be able to entice some fighters to sign with him.

Or his doctor only gives him a year to live and he buries all his hatchets and tries to do good for boxing and delivers the best and most awesome boxing year there ever was.

You never know, but I dont think Crawford wont be able to get some great fights.

If he decides to wait for the Pac/Horn 2 winner, then he's looking at about a year wait. Not good for an active fighter who fights 3 times a year. Obviously, he has to find someone to keep him busy.

PBC fighters would rather see him stay where he belongs. They want no part Crawford. Doe. Except probably Spence, who is also unwanted himself.

I agree tbh. I think he needs to move to 147 now tbh. He unified at 140 and there's nobody out there that could conceivably beat him at the weight. I think the cold war isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I believe Haymon is willing to work with Arum and vice versa.
