True, but 'Andre the Giant' would have wipe his butt with Schwarzenegger.

Look at the foolishness Conor's comments have incited!

Is anyone else just waiting for this s*** to be over with? It's fight week and I just don't care, I don't think I even want to watch it, I am thinking of streaming Cotto and Kamegai.

Speaking of Bruce Lee, Conor, you know Floyd fights the exact same way Bruce did in his choreographed fighting scenes in his films.

Stand in front of you, and throw these instinctive fast karate shots. Cant wait for you to witness greatness come August 26

Andre got handled by Akira Maeda in one of pro-wrestling's rare shoots (it's on youtube, basically Maeda is a **** and starts kicking Andre for real). But he was way past his prime and looked to be drunk. Still I would have paid to see prime Andre fight, even if someone like Valuev, Big Foot Silva in MMA etc weren't so impressive by their size alone. Big Show wanted to become a boxer at one point but gave up.

I just saw the trailer for the new Bruce Lee movie coming out during the ESPN broadcast. It's based on his 'famous' one and only fight, the one he apparently gassed badly and lost according to what side you want to believe. One thing is true, it was this event that made him expand into other martial arts. Still he never had a recorded fight again...because you know, he was an actor!

I think I read that Roddy Piper did some amateur boxing in his youth...and there was also Paul Roma who tried his hand at pro boxing.

Funny thing is that the opponent Bruce was fighting was treating it as a more physical sparring session. Bruce was treating it like a battle to the death. And from what the stories say it ended up a draw with the bigger guy having moment of "out boxing" Bruce, and Bruce landing some bigger strikes(Because he was treating it more serious than the other guy).
