Anyone find the Castillo situation strangely apt?

It has almost a kind of poetic symmetry for the concluding part of "The Battle of the Cheating Amigos". Not onl that, but now that their rubber match will be forever lost in a parallel universe of fights that took place (I doubt Gary Shaw will make the effort again, will he?) it will keep the original two fights alive in the memory for longer, as there will be no definitive "winner" to put a lock on any debate about who really was the better fighter.

Shame on Castillo, though - I heard he's been up all week in a bean-eating competition with Brown Bomber. There's no honour in that when he knew he had a job to do.

Is there a replacement bout or has the entire card just been scrapped?

I've heard that the Darchinyan fight will be the headline act now.

Eric Stoltz says: indeed michael it is quiet strangely apt
      indeed
it is as Apt as ian mckellan was all over his male Pupil in that movie

in the existential view of the acropolitical view of castillo the stellar parallax points to the ****** sign of trust that corrales certainly was deflowered in the c block cell on a cold winters night and so forth it was commenced

therefore the wife beater turned cheater
which rubbed off onto castillo food eater
who took diet advice from sam peter
then gained the name of repeater

so was the tale of castillo corrales 3

call castillo what you will but he is a very good, if not great fighter and both their fights will always be remembered and castillo will have the edge when asked who was the better fighter
