I'm still waiting for boxing to come to Oregon.

The only boxer I know of to ever come out of here is Tonya "TNT" Harding, smh.

Agreed. There is that kid fighting in Phoenix that gets a ton of fans as well.

Maybe the centurylink in Omaha. full capacity because it seats 19k and they will not have to wait until the summer to do it.

          That'd work too.

90,000 at the Memorial Stadium would be amazing though.

Yes, it's great to see such a spirited crowd turn out for their local boxing favorites. Not too many venues have that sort of enthusiasm. Boxing needs more local talents to draw in fans from more obscure places. It was nice to see Bud win via KO in front of his home crowd and insist that belts do matter. Solid champion!

True but then you have to wait for the summer. I don't want to see TC face some bum next. Ideally if he can get the Manny/Horn winner next, then do cornhusker stadium after the exposure from that fight.

Tony "The Tiger" Lopez used to be a pretty nice draw in Sacramento I think.

Just goes to show that you can build up the popularity of the sport in a lot of places outside of the mainstream cities like Vegas.

Promoters just have to be willing to think outside of the box a little.
