Comments Thread For: Oleksandr Gvozdyk Blasts Out Craig Baker

It took Oleksandr Gvozdyk five-plus rounds to do something significant Saturday night. Once he got going, though, the unbeaten light heavyweight contender clobbered Craig Baker in the manner their resumes suggested he would. Gvozdyk dropped Baker and stopped him in the sixth round of a scheduled 10-round fight at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Gvozdyk took it easy for 5 rounds, put in a bit if work and gave the fans a show, and then finished it when he felt like it.

Teddy was sh**ing on Gvozdyk for no reason. He felt his opponent out, stayed calm, loosened him up and then knocked him out after winning every round. Nothing wrong with that at all. It's the same thing champions like Crawford does in a lot of his fights.

              Gvozdyk is a **** fighter.
He is there to be had

The dreaded Tommy Karpency almost had him.

He didn't have anything in front of him tonight..fought scared....and got hit too much.

He should call himself the snail instead of the nail.

Almost had him and was then KOed.

It's ok though, he's a lot more fun to watch than your lowblowing idol. Now that's a snail who puts audiences to sleep.

Crawford doesn't get touched by guys like that.

Gvozdyk acted like he was fighting Tyson...jumping across the ring after punching like his life was in danger

He's 30 already and is still getting babied.

                  I see why.

Soon as he steps up it's lights out.

Ward looked plenty exciting beating the lice off that Russian.

Club fighter Tommy Karpency dropped Gvozdyk HARD.
