Comments Thread For: Mike Alvarado With a Wicked Knockout of Sidney Siqueira

Lincoln, Nebraska - Mike Alvarado (38-4) continued his way on the comeback trail with a wicked knockout of Sidney Siqueira (21-13-1) in their welterweight contest. Alvarado had to survive several rocky moments early on as Siqueira came out guns-a-blazing in the first three rounds.

Biggest problem for Alvarado is he has no balance left which means he has no legs, not to mention is easier to hit than ever. He is too old and shopworn and has to rely on his punch to bail him out. He needs to go back to his family and find some other work...problem is he knows no other work. Wrestled and Boxed his whole life when he wasnt in trouble with the law. But hope he gets a few paydays without getting too hurt.

Better than that would be Rios vs Figuroa.

He looked terrible. He should just go out on this very nice KO win.

Glad that Alvarado is looking to stay sober. Props to him for that. Hopefully he'll make a lil $ before he exits the game. He stayed effed up during his prime, now his chance at redemption is slim to none with the current crop at 47. Still wish him the best. Btw it was a nice KO

Yeah, balance, defense and punch resistance looked absolutely non-existent. His opponent was throwing arm punches that appeared to be having way too much affect. The wars and wild lifestyle seem to have taken a toll on Mile High Mike. Would be best to hang them up but I doubt he will.

It's about time Mike Alvarado got his recognition of being the #1 fighter in the welterweight division.
I've been waiting for this moment for years. Tears are streaming down my face as I type this.

                    Mike Alvarado is the one.
He is on some matrix type ish from here on out.
Move over Lomachenko, move over GGG, move over Sugar Ray Robinson.
Mount Rushmore has a new face waiting to be engraved.
