For Terence Crawford to become Pound for Pound #1 he needs to...

That's if the IBF doesn't mess up his defenses, which they most certainly will, and always do by ordering fights with the champion vs a weaker opponent than the champ was eyeing to fight.
Also I don't see how Crawford would want to fight any one else in that list there other than Mikey. He's probably going to want name opponents like Pacquiao and Horn winner.
The middle and higher weights are not the same as the lower weights where a guy like Gonzalez can beat some top 10 contenders in a couple of weight classes and become #1 P4P based on that. TC has his work cut out for him to become #1.
At the same time I could kinda see how TC would become #1 by default: GGG loses to Canelo, Gonzalez loses to Rungvisai, Ward becomes inactive, TC beats Indongo and some other top 10 guys.Comment

I dont understand this new mentality and I need explaining. Why everybody must move in order to "prove" they are worthy, happens with GGG,Ward, guillermo, loma and crawford, just to name a few,the lack of "good"opposition has nothing to do with the fighter himself,I believe anyways, you fight any and all opposition in your weight class, you maintain and unify, why would I move up in weight when a lot of disadvantages come my way?it just makes no sense to me,but what I do believe,is nothing but just to discredit a fighter and saying "yeah, you alright, but if you move in weight XX fighter will destroy you".It is quite simple,be the king in your division and depending of your opponents records and what brings to the table(belts, names of fighters, etc) that will determine where you re in the p4p listComment

140 is one of the weakest divisions for last few years. Nothing he does at 140 will warrant #1 p4p, and Indongo, even though I like him a lot, has mostly lucked into this fight.
For TC to be #1, he'd need to beat either Thurman, Garcia or Spence. Maybe 2 of them.Comment
