Comments Thread For: Ricky Burns: Indongo's Height & Reach Made Him a Nightmare

Ricky Burns was so bothered by the one-sided defeat he suffered against Julius Indongo that the former two-division champion didn't leave the house for more than two weeks. Burns had seen brief footage of the unbeaten Namibian's fights on YouTube.com and believes he prepared properly for a taller, left-handed opponent who had pulled off a one-punch, 40-second upset of former IBF junior welterweight champion Eduard Troyanovsky in his previous fight. Scotland's Burns still couldn't deal well with Indongo during their 12-round, 140-pound title unification fight April 15 in Glasgow.

Plus Indongo had the advantage of not sucking d!ck as a fighter, unlike Ricky Burns.

Yes I think that was the biggest factor.

Indongo beat Burns easier than Crawford did. But still Burns picks Crawford to win by stoppage tonight.

That's how Indongo has to fight, with those long arms and accurate shots

Crawford fought already several times bigger guys but none of them was a southpaw like Indongo. So Crawford has to adapt and switching stances won't help him much this time.

Crawford fought and dominated a Burns, that was 3 years fresher than the one Indongo fought.

Fight is only a couple of hours away. Any debate at this point is moot.
Hope whoever wins does so decisively without any controversy.

I don't see how Crawford will lose in Nebraska.
