I've seen Morales fight many times and he is solid but nothing special sticks out. Good at many things but not great at anything. Machado's record looks like he's a Knockout machine but I've never seen him fight or heard of most of those guys. And when you look carefully half the guys he fought didn't even enter the ring with a winning record or had double digit losses. Where as Morales has only fought 4 fighters like that and has more pro fights. So while he hasn't looked as spectacular he's fought better competition. Both guys have regional belts and Morales hasn't lost since his pro debut in 2012. Machado is ranked 7th by WBO and 9th by WBA. Morales is ranked 6th by the WBA. Winner is going to jump up the rankings and likely in position for a World title eliminator.
