Calzaghe has fought with a fractured left hand before (Reid, Thornberry, Starie) because he needed the money, but now I think he knows he can afford to pull out of this Johnson fight because he has money fights in the future with the likes of Tarver (if he beats Hopkins, which Joe thinks he will) and/or Jones Jr.
