He didnt even want it to happen. The investors wanted to start seeing some $$$ come in and strong armed White. Dana knows there is a strong chance McG quits on his stool. Despite what people say this will carry back to mma, UFC fighters gave him a lot of crap for what they called "quiting" against Diaz. Having a 40yo beat you to submission wont look good in the supposed "real fighting" world.

What's there to discuss Dana when the fight is above WW, 10 oz gloves are used.

Maybe he changed his mind after speaking to Paulie and watching Conor's best attempt at a knockdown

Isn't it more the type of gloves than whether it's 8 or 10 ounce weighted gloves that makes a bigger difference? Then again, a powerful puncher will surely punch hard whether Reyes, Grant or Everlast gloves. Let's hope it's a memorable fight with no dq. Respect to anybody who gets into the square ring or the octagon.

It's not that big of a difference. If you're not a KO puncher in 10 you're not a KO puncher in 8.

But yeah the brand and composition of the glove matters more than what it weighs.

Dana white has never had a fight in his life, how the hell does he know what it feels like to get hit with 8oz or 10oz Gloves.

Tell everyone how you used to carry Floyds bags back in the day when you were a boxing groupie fake trainer. Have Floyd saying it and you so you came a long way in UFC boxing you still know nothing
