I'm sure connor is a capable athlete. But riusks usually are associated with fighting people who are likely to beat you.
Floyd could fight a flyweight boxer and also claim he is tasking a risk as his reputation would take a pounding losing to a flyweight.

youre taking no risk whatsoever and you know it. the way youve got yourself to that 50 mark is absolutely pathetic, andre berto and a 0-0 fighter. youve damaged your legacy.

Of course he has more to lose, but that doesn't mean there's any realistic chance of him losing. Just saying "anything can happen" isn't good enough either.

I don't think some people understand what he's saying. He's not taking a big risk as in he could lose, it's what he has to lose if he does. The problem is that it's a big if.
But it's quite simple and his logic checks out, if you're IQ is above 70. Yes, if McGregor loses, he loses nothing, his record goes from 0-0 to 0-1, he goes back to UFC and makes millions more on PPV, possibly sells his ability to go 12 rounds with Floyd (if it happens, very likely). He has nothing to lose.
If Floyd loses he goes 49-1, to a guy who's 0-0 and is a UFC fighter and had been seriously training for boxing for a few months. Floyd loses more.

It's not a jab at you, I'm surprised that someone such as yourself would buy into it that's all. No pun intended, I've read your posts and that's why I made the comment.Originally posted by Fabes88 View PostPeople like me? You obviously haven't read the majority of my posts about this fight but the facts speak for themselves. Floyd has a lot more to lose than Connor does. Connor is about to quadruple his net worth that doesn't sound like much of a risk to me. Floyds reputation could be in tatters after this.
When floyd spoke of mcgregor having all of the advantages I called bull**** on that because it was bs but I do agree that he has more to lose going into this fight than mcgregor. There's no expectations of Connor if he was to see the final bell it would be seen as a victory of some sorts.
