Andre Ward did $3m+ and $2m+ at the gate for his first two fights in Las Vegas; to dismiss him as simply a local attraction is a mistake.

Top Rank has no vehicle to monetize what Ward brings to the table; ignore that simple truth if you want.

i cant see ward being involved in a legitimate fight again. can only see him fighting bellew and then a circus fight at heavyweight.

To extrapolate all of this from Andre Ward filling in for Tim Bradley once is laughable (the fact that Ward is also going to be a apart of the Floyd-McGregor hype makes it pretty obvious that this is far more an ESPN move than anything to do with Top Rank).

Andre Ward has a good batch of fights that make his likely move obvious; Stevenson to unify the division, Cleverly-Jack winner as the WBA mandatory, Beterbiev-Koeling winner as the IBF mandatory, Tony Bellew at cruiserweight, the dream of a shot at the heavyweight title (which is pretty long odds, with Ward still sitting in the 180s without a fight in the question).

Ward's fought out his HBO deal, will leverage the ESPN exposure for this last run of Floyd's, and he and RocNation (after Haymon and James Prince have their sit-down) are likely to move the entire stable (Ward, Rigo, Arias, Hooker, DHH, and their young prospects) over to Showtime.
Yeah that's the problem. TR doesn't really have any opponents for him and Arum likes to keep his fighters totally in-house..

Beterbiev and Gvozdyk are with TR, would love to see Dre fight either one of those guys. Beterbiev is gonna be his IBF mandatory soon...

Beterbiev is still with Groupe Yvon Michel and, to add more emphasis, is still with Al Haymon. Nice try though.

Beterbiev for the IBF, the Cleverly-Jack winner for the WBA, Adonis Stevenson to unify the division, Tony Bellew at cruiserweight in a "film to life" fight, and possible shots at the heavyweight title are all matchups to that are waiting for him on Showtime/SHOPPV.

Ward-Gvozdyk on ESPN simply doesn't measure up.

Ward signing with Top Rank would not be a good move at all. He could get fights against Beterbiev, Stevenson and more at 175 being a free agent.

What fight would he get under Top Rank? Joe Smith Jr.?
how much would he make fighting those names you mention as compare to what he'll get fighting under TR?

Dre is not about to sign with the guys known for giving the fighters zero control. He's already said he only has a few fights left and that they "have to make sense". He's not handing his career over to TR.

There's been lots of rumours going around that Top Rank are close to signing him, which is why he's the co-main on one of their big cards.

Nice try? I'm not sure what you think I was 'trying'. People on here are weird AF man...
