Vernon was too linear for me. Excellent jab and a good right hand, but he didn't do enough for me to think he can keep Floyd at bay for 12. I see Floyd winning a very uneventful UD using lots of body jabs early and some better shots later on

This is the toughest modern opponent for Floyd IMO. His jab was great and it snapped. It would be a close fight, but I think Floyd ekes out a win. In a 5 fight series, Floyd 3-2.

Forrest had a better style to beat Mayweather than Paul Williams did.

Vernon was great --- rest his soul, but no way does he beat Floyd. Sorry.

              We miss you Vernon!!!

Tough one. Vernon's length, skill and power would present Floyd problems.

I'm going to say Floyd ekes out a very, very close fight by Split Decision.

Tough fight. The Viper was dope.

May Vernon Forrest soul be at peace. Great fighter and to echo another posters sentiments we do miss you Vernon, nothing but love.

A prime 147 pound Oscar de la Hoya dominates the best version of Floyd Mayweather Jr.
