The Uzbek team should be Madrimov at welter, Melikuziev at middle and Tursunov at light heavy. All three of them look like they could shed some pounds

Melikuziev is one of the most talented fighters but his fundamentals are horrible, doesn't he shadowbox next to Dusmatov? It's hard to imagine that Uzbekistan can produce fighters like Dusmatov and Zoirov with beautiful boxing technique and then we have Melikuziev and Gyiasov

I think Madrimov will find out that the guys at 69 are much faster and making that weight will make him even weaker. Madrimov is fine at 75. Melikuziev needs to work on his boxing, because just relying in on athleticism and jumping in and out can get you so far regardless how talented you are.

He's at a significant size disadvantage at light heavy though. If Madrimov is favoured by the coaches then maybe Melikuziev should turn pro. He can move to Singapore like Abdugofurov

Ward won round one clearly, Melikuziev won round two closely and then Ward won round three closely despite holding too much. Melikuziev seemed to struggle a lot with Ward's size, as well as his skills
