Everyone mentions Canelo's counterpunching ability, but he can also box. So can GGG! If he can avoid clean shots, Canelo has a chance because he is going to touch GGG with his counters. It might come to "quien aguanta mas." who can endure the most, who wants it most. Kudos to both of these men.

Why would ggg trade with Lemieux the biggest puncher when jab and combos couldn't miss even for him it's hit not get hit against a threat literally every jab landed

I think Canella facing his first MW is being underestimated finally someone his own size zombie Chavez doesn't count

If Cotto was not rattled a way bigger ggg might be able to get off his power Canella slow feet was outboxed by Cotto

Other than that he will become a sitting duck for Gennady, because he throws punches without ceasing.

Moreover, he has to at least double his normal punch output and work rate too. He is going to have work on his stamina and throw punches in high volume in order to make it a battle of attrition. Just landing single, clean and accurate punches at a time is not going to get the job down like it did in his previous fights.
That's true, and I've not heard many people mention that. GGG fights at a much higher pace than Canelo which unless Canelo can catch him early like say Kirkland, just the pace of the fight could wear him down later on.

Yes. I've read that Golovkin was more of a counter puncher prior to hooking up with Sanchez. I think jabs and counter the counters is what you'll see a lot of.

Canelo's strong and he's better than those guys. He'll land cleaner and GGG will feel him more.

Rooting for GGG but I think Canelo takes it.

The difference is that Lemieux didn't have the skills to land, Canelo does...
