Sources in Mexico have advised BoxingScene.com that a WBC final featherweight eliminator is going to match unbeaten contenders Joseph Diaz (24-0, 13 KOs) and Jorge Lara (29-0-2, 21 KOs). Josh Warrington was in negotiations for this fight for weeks and just pulled out of the purse bid. Wonder why he's passing up on a chance at eliminator for a title shot.

yeah so far Jojo vs Lara, Diego vs Caballero, Jesus Rojas vs Claudio Marrero, Orozco vs Roberto Ortiz, and Ryan Martin all confirmed for the undercard. 6 of those fighters are undefeated and the rest have only 1 loss. Good fights wonder who get's bumped off the PPV there is only 3 spots available. The rest likely on the free prelim before the PPV.

He must have a big domestic fight lined up. He did duck Selby fairly shamelessly last year though

I guess it also sets up Diaz vs Rojas as a HBO headliner if they win their fights
