Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez Has Seen 'Tremendous Improvement' In Canelo

Abel Sanchez doesn't hold back when you ask him for reasons why Gennady Golovkin will beat Canelo Alvarez in their long-awaited middleweight title fight next month. Golovkin's veteran trainer concedes, though, that an aging Golovkin will encounter a much-improved Alvarez when they square off September 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old Alvarez is 7-0, including four knockouts, since suffering his only professional defeat, a majority decision loss to unbeaten legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. nearly four years ago.

Abel trying to sell the fight lol this fight isn't as close as the odds might suggest. People say Canelo is a better boxer and all Golovkin has is a punch. But you don't go 345-5 in the ammys with just a "punch"... Golovkin is superior in every department except hand speed, and he wins this fight BIG.

Golovkin is the better boxer by far. Has size and power on top of that.

Canelo is a dead man walking!

Ggg is TOO SLOW! Why can't y'all see that this fight will be easy pickings for canelo? lol there isn't a worst blind person than the one who chooses not to see

Exactly, why can't you see that Canelo doesn't have the foot speed or the stamina and punch , to keep Golovkin off of him for the whole fight.

And let's not count the opposition, both could have had better.

So have I. But is it enough to defeat the undefeated, undisputed Middleweight Champion. Probably not.
